As new member educator, I led a six-week long New Member Orientation process for both fall and spring recruitment. Each pledge class I was responsible for held about 70 girls. I planned events, such as new member retreat, bid day, and big little mixers, all of which had large budgets that had to be allocated appropriately.

As a chapter member, I attend weekly chapter meetings. I participate in philanthropy events, which we hold, as a chapter, to raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, the National Association of Anorexia Nervosa and Associated Disorders, and the Delta Phi Epsilon Educational Foundation. Through my membership, I have also gained volunteer hours and aided in community service.

As a member, I performed with the rest of the team at various events, including Atlanta Hawks halftime show and philanthropy events around campus. I attended practice twice a week. I walked in the UGA homecoming parade and the Athens Christmas parade.

As a summer intern, I was able to gain experience in the medical field, performing tasks that a medical assistant would do. I was responsible for checking patients in and out, and brought them back to their rooms in preparation for the doctor. I triaged patients and took vitals for the doctors.

As an office assistant, I uploaded documents into online software folders, included billing information, patient intake records, and medication information. I was responsible for sorting documents for doctors to use during surgery.

As treasurer, I managed a budget of about $5000. Throughout the year, I allocated this money to uniforms/costumes, equipment, and performance fees. I was responsible for 16 member dues. I organized and oversaw many fundraisers. I also attended monthly meeting with UGA Recreational Sports staff and faculty.

Georgia Dance Team is a club sport at the University of Georgia that enables dancers to continue their passion while studying at the university. The team provides performance opportunities through UGA events and around the Athens community. As President, I find performance opportunities for the team, run practices and rehearsals, and plan team events, such as bonding activities and meetings. I am responsible for finding choreographers and communicating with UGA faculty and staff.
