• Interviewed victims and witnesses within a week of arraignment to discuss Grand Jury testimony, explained defendant’s bail and remand status, assessed risks and safety plan, coordinated victim services referrals, and enhanced investigations; briefed 5 ADAs on victim cooperation and assessed dockets for evidence-based prosecution in high-risk cases with uncooperative victims • Researched and wrote legal memoranda on defendant identification in the Grand Jury without witness testimony, hearsay exceptions, and other issues related to felony prosecutions • Reviewed discovery, assessing for evidence-based prosecution, enhancing investigations with subpoenas for surveillance footage and additional camera footage, and requesting missing discovery from officers • Monitored and annotated prison calls on indicted cases to flag admissions, potential witness intimidation, and Criminal Contempt violations
