My responsibilities include payroll processing for 1400 employees in 5 different states. Also, I maintained PayChex and Advantage/Pay USA payroll systems. I set up and maintained employee records such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews and terminations. As part of this process, I obtained and maintained evidence of employment eligibility for all employees as well as responding to all third party requests.

In this role, I worked for job placement professionals consulting with payroll processes. I worked with such agencies as Account Temps, Robert Half International, Ajilon Financial Services, Spencer Reed Group and AppleOne. I processed and prepared payroll for up to 3,000 employees utilizing various payroll software packages including processing multi-state payroll, new hires, terminations, manual checks, voluntary deductions, wage garnishments and special projects and audits.

I've worked at IPS Corporation for almost 10 years. I started as Sr. Payroll Specialist in 2006 and was promoted shortly thereafter to Payroll Supervisor. During my time with IPS, I've assumed responsibility for the payroll processing for all locations. My team consists of a Payroll clerk as well as working closely with members of the accounting team. I also coordinate with location HR personnel to ensure that proper payroll procedures are followed at all times. I am very versatile and can handle a range of compensation issues including new hire transfers, commissions, bonuses, auto allowances, merit increases, voluntary and statutory payroll deductions. Each week, I prepare and generate special reports for the entire organization including benefits reports, accounting reports, termination report, work comp reports and administrative task reporting. Once the reports are prepared, they are audited for accuracy. In this position, I report directly to the CFO and work closely with senior and executive team members in the organization.
