1. Development of Packaging materials like carton, tube, labels, flexible packaging, moulded components etc. from local Indian sources for Color cosmetics and Personal and hair care category. 2. Mould development for different rigid components using ISBM, EBM, IM & IBM processes. 3. Packaging brief creation for NPD's. 4. Specification, BOM creation for different packaging materials. 5. Coordination and alignment with different teams like global team GSO, R&D, Regional Team, Marketing and Local Supplier (components & fillers) for proper product packaging development. 6. KLD development and artwork approval is done for different components. 7. Machine trials are carried out for finalising the final Pack mat details. 8. Performance tests conducted for different packaging materials. 9. Vendor development for different type of packaging materials.

1. Worked in the corporate packaging department. 2. Handled almost entire range of Dabur?s product portfolio i.e health supplement, skin care, hair care, oral care, home care, digestives, toothpaste, pharma range etc. 3. Selection, testing and development of different types of primary, secondary & tertiary packaging materials was done. 4. Co-ordinating with the existing suppliers & developing new vendors for different types of packaging materials (laminates, cartons, jars, caps, corrugated boards, PVC sleeves, etc.). 5. Key line designing (KLD's), artwork development is done for different products. 6. Documentation related to packaging i.e. specifications for different packaging materials consisting of flexible laminates, rigids like plastic jars, containers, tubes, bottles & closures, cartons, corrugated boxes, trays, shrink films, PVC sleeves etc. using SAP/ MWT system is done. 7. Designing of packaging instructions, BOM uploading etc is done. 8. Liaison with multiple departments for getting the artwork clearance. 9. Machine and fitment trials for new materials/ designs are carried out at the plant. 10. Evaluation of new products packaging material/ design related work is done.

Job Profile: 1. Working in Research & Development, Quality control and Production Departments of Domestic & Export Packaging/Converting Division. 2. R&D work involves offering new/ alternate flexible packaging materials & solutions to our customers as per their requirements. 3. Cost reduction packages are also researched and developed in R&D work. 4. Quality control profile involves analysis of different flexible packages offered by other companies, outcome of which leads to better & refined developments. 5. Analysis of all the properties of new/existing flexible packaging materials is performed. 6. Production/Shop Floor work related to R&D is carried out resulting in new developments. 7. Shop Floor work deals with raw material sourcing, material testing & all the processes (like printing, lamination, slitting and pouching) till the finished products (laminates or pouches) are ready.
