• Actively worked on design and synthesis of structurally diverse glycosaminoglycan (GAG) based photoaffinity probe that can serve as a unique chemical tool for mapping GAG-protein interactions. • Established a protocol for glycomics study of commercially available heparin molecules using reverse phase ion pairing-UPLC (RPIP-UPLC) to identify the structural components of heterogeneous GAG samples.

• Actively involved as a chemist to design and synthesize novel thiazole peptidomimetic ligands utilizing traditional peptide coupling reaction to test antibacterial properties against S. agalactiae by targeting G-quadruplexes (G4s). • Engaged in developing SAR to design potent inhibitor of E3-ubiquitin protein ligase.

• Rationally developed structure-activity relation (SAR) library with small molecule heterocycles to achieve selective and dual antagonists for toll-like receptors 7 and 9 (TLR7 and TLR9) with nanomolar and submicromolar activity. • Actively involved in developing methodology for scalable preparation of medicinally privileged scaffolds.
