An energy professional with 13+ years of consulting and industry experience working across various dimensions of energy efficiency improvements in the industry sector (including both Large as well as Micro, Small, & Medium Enterprises) and the power sector. He had been with Grant Thornton, PwC, ICF Consulting India Pvt Ltd and Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) in his previous roles and has worked with various agencies namely ADB, UNIDO, SIDBI, GCPF, BEE, World Bank, FCDO (BHC), CTCN, CLASP, UNDP, Various Corporates, etc. on a range of projects. These projects briefly include various elements of energy and resource efficiency studies, implementation of low carbon technologies in Indian industries, development of an energy efficiency roadmap for energy-intensive sectors, Impact Assessment Studies, Low Carbon Technology Roadmap, Energy Efficiency Financing, Benchmarking Study, Promoting Industrial Energy Efficiency, Measurement & Verification studies, PAT facilitation and Mandatory Energy Audits under PAT scheme, Decarbonization and Net Zero strategies. He has working experience in India, China, Mongolia, Nigeria, Eswatini, Maldives, Malawi, Bangladesh and Nepal. An engineering graduate from VNIT Nagpur and has a MBA focused in Energy Management from DAVV, Indore. He is certified ISO 50001 Lead Auditor, Certified Energy Auditor, Qualified BOE (Boiler Operation Engineering), Certified in Project Management and PG in Power Management. He likes trekking, reading books, MOOCs courses, DIY activities, spending time with family. He also works as a volunteer in Robinhood Army (RHA) and Vidyadaan Sahayyak Mandal (VSM Thane) in his free time.
