About
I am a lecturer at the Ruhr University Bochum and the University of Duisburg-Essen. In addition I am currently working on my Ph.D. project on the First World War and memory culture at the time of the First World War centenary. The focus of my work is on how contemporary literature, especially poetry, ‘remembers’ the 1914-1918 war and its literature. My other research interests are WWI and WWII literature, Memory Studies, Art History, and Feminist Studies with a special focus on feminist literature on women and mental illness.
