To such diverse environments I bring a consistent skill set of structure, strategic thinking, finance and building high performance teams. Combined with a steady hand, this has proved an excellent complement to the high-change, high-uncertainty settings that characterise startups and exponential growth businesses – my favourite kind. My current focus is HeadsUp, building transparency into the food service supply chain. With products like Pepper, the food cost assistant, and Benchmarket, our procurement benchmarking tool for enterprise, we give restaurants and hospitality groups a single source of truth for costs, and a way to act on the insights we provide.
