* Apply policy models to project the impacts of population growth on social and economic development and to show the importance of family planning in making progress on various Sustainable Development Goals. * Provide analyses and advocacy regarding population issues in Malawi and additional countries. * Work with a Malawian university to develop curricula for demography students about policy models and data for decision making.

Served as the Monitoring & Evaluation Advisor for the supply chain component of the "My Choice" Gates-funded family planning implementation research project in Indonesia. Led development of project indicators and led representative, facility-based assessments (including survey development, data collector training, data cleaning, and data analysis).

* Led and supported initiatives to improve the availability of medicines and contraceptives in developing countries, through strengthening supply chains and information systems, promoting sustainable financing, and informing evidence-based advocacy and decisionmaking. Developed indicators and performance monitoring plans for country offices and for the global reproductive health community. Conducted assessments, analyzed data, and wrote research and advocacy papers on health logistics * financing * and reproductive, maternal, and child health. Provided short-term technical assistance abroad * e.g.,: led facility-based supply chain assessments for reproductive health and HIV/AIDS in Nigeria and Zambia, facilitated strategic plan workshops in Nigeria, trained stakeholders from five African countries on financial tracking for contraceptives * conducted financial tracking in Uganda * and developed data monitoring tools and systems in the Philippines.

Provided technical and managerial support to the Mozambique and South Africa USAID | DELIVER PROJECT field offices, and then to the Monitoring & Evaluation, Policy, and Supply Chain Management teams. Led research project regarding family planning and contraceptive security indicators in over 40 countries. Managed data collection, analyzed data, wrote reports, and created online, interactive maps of country data. Managed Quarterly Report data collection and data management, analyzed data, and contributed to semi-annual reports to USAID. Provided short-term technical assistance abroad, e.g.,: conducted forecasting for essential medicines in Malawi and a qualitative and quantitative TB assessment in Nigeria.

Participated in various aspects of the Healthy Women in Georgia Program, a multi-faceted women’s health project in the Republic of Georgia focusing on reproductive health, maternal health, and women’s cancers. Conducted interviews and wrote a USAID success story and an extensive newsletter regarding the project. Participated in meetings about social marketing campaigns, health education, and project research.

Conducted process evaluation for a research project promoting healthy foods in supermarkets and corner stores in low-income East Baltimore. Designed data collection forms, evaluated program implementation, and wrote evaluation results for a grant application.

Provided recommendations regarding how the TB clinic can partner with community organizations in education and outreach efforts to enhance TB services for the Latino community and minimize the need to quarantine patients. Identified Baltimore organizations that serve Latinos, interviewed staff about their knowledge about TB and the city's TB clinic, and organized a meeting to acquaint the TB clinic with the organizations.

* Worked on a multi-site investigation regarding the causes of higher asthma morbidity and severity in certain ethnic minority populations. * Conducted and rated semi-structured interviews in English and Spanish to assess family management of asthma. * Translated documents into Spanish and corresponded with study staff in Puerto Rico.

* Provided asthma education and diabetes nutrition education home visits, workshops, and basic case management for community health center patients. * Interpreted between Spanish-speaking patients and their healthcare providers. * Interviewed patients about outcomes of the asthma education home visits and analyzed the data for a grant report
