As member of this "thinking bubble" focusing around online media, some other students and myself answered questions from the event visitors live. Some examples of asked questions are: How can I use YouTube for my company? How does digital video work, and how can I reach my target audience with it? What are the benefits of using digital video and social media?

For Hospice Lansingerland I created a social media strategy including a content planning.

As a student information officier I provide upcoming Dutch HBO students with information about NHTV and its studies. I help them make a study choice through giving presentations and telling them about my own experiences at NHTV Breda. This English-programme prepares you for a career in the media and entertainment industry. You'll become an expert in concept development, production techniques and marketing of entertainment products. As a media and entertainment manager you are both creative and commercial. You will develop the marketing campaign for a new film, or produce a dynamic media event. The media industry is very trend sensitive. What's hot today will be outdated tomorrow. You have a radar for what's happening in the industry and how to act on it. You also have the ability to present and sell your ideas. The media industry is a hard and fast world. So you are decisive, perseverant and persuasive.

As part of NHTV's IMEM PR6 (Media Production) course, 46 other classmates and myself went to Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, AZ. During three weeks we produced three live shows. One of these shows is "Gettin' High On Arizona", a liveshow about natural phenomena in Northern Arizona. For this project I was the camera operator and editor for the package about Sedona and Oak Creek Canyon (06:22 - 09:51), and finally in the studio I was responsible for the audio.
