Set up new communities by working with architects and engineers to obtain lot fits, finalized architectural plans, engineered plans, truss plans, and material takeoffs. Set up jobs and takeoffs in system, sent plans out for bid, and reviewed bids for accuracy against plans and specifications. Negotiated pricing and awarded work to vendors with advice from the Director of Purchasing. Sent out contract paperwork using DocuSign to awarded vendors. Entered pricing for labor and materials in system. Released purchase orders for jobs ready to start and communicated with the builder when the purchase orders were loaded. Updated purchase orders when necessary due to pricing or vendor changes. Investigated and resolved invoice discrepancies. Updated and maintained neighborhood specification sheet. Developed and maintained relationships with architects, engineers and all vendors to represent the company in a friendly, professional and efficient manner.
