Area of responsibilities: Raw Sugar Procurement Raw Materials Procurement Indirect Materials Procurement  Services and Indirect Materials o Planning & implementing overall procurement for various department projects i.e. Supply Chain Management, IT Related, Human Resources, Engineering and Production via tender and negotiation process. o Managing technical projects related with investment of machinery, equipment and spare parts. Some of the projects are investment on Boiler, Reverse Osmosis Water, Water Treatment and Effluence Water Treatment. o Supply Chain project related with transportation, raw sugar discharging, contract workers, forklift and e-Pod. o Insurance – General Insurance, Director’s & Officers (D&O) Liability o Waste Disposal o Security Services o Cleaning Services o Direct Materials o Packaging Materials o Chemicals  Raw Sugar o Develop and execute the procurement strategies o Working together with the Traders on hedging raw sugar price using New York # 11 Futures o Arrange the Tender Documents or negotiate CNF cost for raw sugar arrival o Stock Movement Monthly Report to Determine quantity and timing of delivery of raw sugar to suit operations and storage capabilities stock level. o Assess, manage and mitigate risks as per requirement of Group Risk Management

Manage purchasing operation in ensuring timely ordering and delivery of raw material for the continuous running of production. Coordination and control of introduction of raw material at plant level. Responsible for negotiation for local purchase raw materials. Certified Internal Auditor of IATF16949 and ISO 9001.

Supply Chain Management (SCM) includes new product development, product sourcing & procurement, material distribution to outlets, logistic and warehouse management.

Manage the whole commercial procurement spectrum in GAB for Above The Line (ATL) agency retainer fee negotiation and Below Line - BTL (premium and POSM) negotiation. Other purchases; Wastage disposal collection rate, stationery purchases, car purchases and car disposal, third party re-packing activities and spare parts purchases.

Managing Third Party Manufacturer (TPM) for regional market -Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and Philippines. Starts with identify and qualify potential TPM. Conduct negotiations with suppliers and negotiate competitive commercial leverage for outsource products. Collaboration with R&D for product trial and commercial run. Responsibilities includes coordinating timely new product launch with agreed cost and quality. Evaluate Price Variance Report (PPV) due to materials price difference verses standard costing and currency exchange variances.
