Providing one-to-one lessons on a variety of subjects including: English, Maths, Biology, Chemistry & Physics at levels varying from 11+ to A2 level. As well as lesson planning, teaching and homework marking my role also included formulating realistic and achievable plans with students, teaching study skills and time management.

Management of patients on the surgical ward including acutely unwell patients and post-operative patients. Duties including taking medical histories, performing examinations, requesting investigations, prescribing and delivering medication.

This role involved facilitating junior medical students in group learning of human anatomy on cadavers and cadaveric material. The role required an extensive personal knowledge of human anatomy.

1 year Intercalated Bachelor of Science Honours Degree. Curriculum included three courses (Biology of Cancer, Cardiovascular & Respiratory Pharmacology and Development & Disease [Embryology]) as well as a laboratory-based research project and 7,000 word dissertation on said project.
