A techno-functional business leader with 22+ years of multi-faceted experience including trading, MF & investment banking exposure in all the major Exchanges including BSE , MCX, IEX , MCX-SX ,ICEX and MSEI . The whole team & system set-up from the start has been done by me in IEX, MCX-SX & ICEX. In Indian Commodity exchange Ltd (ICEX) as CIO, ICEX is India’s 3rd largest stock exchange (Commodity Segment) in the country. As a CIO, I am responsible for overall set-up, bringing new technology, Vendor management and building & maintaining the team. I am also responsible for implementing all these in a cost effective manner. Currently ICEX system is one of the most efficient trading applications available in India with new low latency hardware and application performance in µ sec. Further ICEX will be the 1st commodity Exchange which will be launching the Mutual Fund segment in it’s platform. In Metropolitan Stock Exchange Ltd (MCX-SX) as Head –Technology, I was responsible for overall direction and leadership of exchange information Technology set up, its operation and maintenance. In Infosys Limited , as Lead Consultant – Capital Markets Practice I was responsible for handling a team of 20+ consultants for providing business analysis and IT consulting expertise In Financial technologies (FTIL) as AVP (Technology Head ), I was heading the project team for setting up India’s first Energy Exchange (IEX) – Day Ahead Market (DAM) & Continuous trading of power. I was further made responsible for overlooking setup processes in MCX/MCX-SX/IEX related to trading, settlement / clearing, risk management . AGM – IT Projects and Operations in BSE, my primary role was to manage various technology systems and products specifically BSE Online Trading System (BOLT), & DTSS. At CMC worked as a Module Leader for 5 years. Managed a team of 10 and responsible for various development projects undertaken by the client related to Online Trading.
