Project management of sensory contract research projects for sensory discrimination and descriptive teams within the sensory services section of the Consumer & Sensory Sciences Department from initial client contact to reporting and presentation of technical data.

Also potential taint testing of non food products * cleaning chemicals, wall/flooring compounds and packaging. Developed the company's quality management system, Internal and external quality auditing of team and suppliers and training of team. Responsible for successful acquisition of BS 5750 (now ISO 9001) for Dawn Foods Europe (Evesham) in May 1994. Prior to this role worked in the quality control laboratory/test bakery as a Food Development Technologist conducting regular QC testing/analysis on a wide range of finished food products from squashes, sauces, flavourings and bakery premixes and ingredients. Also involved in recipe modifications and product development for clients from lab based samples to pilot and full scale production. Responsible for food safety of processing facilities and hygiene audits.

Management of the Sensory Analysis and Testing Services Section within the Consumer & Sensory Sciences Department at Campden BRI. Provision of sensory analysis of food and drink products using sensory discrimination, descriptive and quality methods and trained sensory panels. Responsible for resource and financial and team management, business development and to ensure technical delivery of outputs to an agreed service level.
