- Leading development of a marine spatial plan in Canada's Arctic under the Nunavik Inuit Land Claims Agreement

- Managed 15 professional staff as the lead of the Source and Surface Water Management Branch. - Directed the activities of the provincial Watercourse and Wetland Alteration (WAWA), Wellfield Protection, and Watershed Protection Programs. - Coordinated the development of the new NB Watercourse Alteration Certification Program in collaboration with Fisheries and Oceans Canada and the Maritime College of Forest Technology. - Responded to media and Right to Information requests, prepared briefing notes, and drafted Ministerial responses. - Hired and onboarded new staff, coordinated with Human Resources to provide accommodations, and managed equipment purchases, space planning, and budget for various government program areas.

- Managed a team of up to 22 staff during an emergency redeployment to the Department of Justice and Public Safety as part of the provincial government’s response to Covid 19. - Hired, onboarded, equipped, and trained a total of 28 individuals, including permanent and re-deployed staff, within a fast-paced and high-pressure setting. - Translated government policies into scripts for communicating with the public to confirm compliance with provincial Emergency Orders. - Managed data and provided status updates for decision-making and media response. - Coordinated with a range of government agencies to ensure alignment, including the Department of Health and the Emergency Measures Organization. - Received Government of New Brunswick Covid 19 Exemplary Service Medal.

- Coordinated technical, First Nation, and public consultation initiatives to identify and assess the potential impacts of proposed development projects. - Developed recommendations and briefing notes for the Minister of Environment and Local Government as well as responded to media and Right to Information requests. - Supported Lean Six Sigma process improvement activities and Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Branch outreach and education activities related to the clarification and improvement of the province’s EIA process.

- Conducted ecological integrity monitoring in Fundy National Park, and developed protocol documents to ensure consistent field methods as well as standardized data collection and analysis. - Researched and synthesized information for reports on managing Canada Goose human-wildlife conflict as well as emergency planning and evacuation procedures for Parks Canada leadership. - Coordinated logistics for meetings and indigenous engagement.

- Created and briefed tailored presentations on weather impacts in the field and remotely for Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) units and assets worldwide. - Maintained and submitted reports to CAF Intelligence Command indicating the readiness status and activities of the Joint Meteorological Centre (JMC). - Developed and maintained Standard Operating Procedures for JMC Operations to ensure consistent, high quality 24/7 weather briefing. - Initiated and managed a JMC Health and Wellness Program to help members maintain balance and perspective in their lives by engaging in sports, volunteering, and CAF Health Promotion talks. - Received the Top Candidate Award in CAF Basic Training, the inaugural Junior Service Person of the Quarter Award for outstanding service and contributions in the CAF Intelligence Command, as well as an advanced promotion to the rank of Corporal.

- Coordinated with federal, provincial, and First Nation representatives when organizing and attending stakeholder meetings with 15-20 participants from different interest groups, including representatives from the oil and gas, environmental, recreational, and fishing sectors. - Integrated existing academic, non-profit, and government research and policies to create comprehensive criteria for selecting conservation areas. - Produced clear and succinct technical reports summarizing cultural, economic, and environmental considerations for federal, provincial, and First Nation leadership.

- Created policy briefings and science backgrounders. - Coordinated stakeholders and logistics for public engagement processes involving 15-20 participants. - Developed and applied protocols for assessing candidates for positions within the Pacific North Coast Integrated Management Area (PNCIMA) Initiative. - Updated the PNCIMA website and trained new staff in website maintenance.

- Edited documents assessing the environmental impacts of development projects in Southern California for a range of clients, including Disney and Westfield Corp. - Performed site visits of prospective developments to assess potential environmental impacts. - Provided support at community consultation meetings.

- Interviewed municipal workers on climate change strategies. - Conducted literature reviews and identified data sources to aid the development of a guidebook on municipal adaptation to climate change.

- Worked independently while coordinating with fishers onboard commercial groundfish trawlers. - Documented commercial catch amounts and species composition. - Monitored compliance to fisheries regulations and completed technical reports.
