JANUARY 2017 – JULY 2017: Product developer Raw Research (full-time, temporary contract) G-star Cover for pregnancy leave in Raw Research team; the innovative conceptual collection led by G-star’s creative director Aitor Throup. Capsule collection presented bi-annually in Paris during Paris Fashion Week. - Developing in-house collection with team of pattern makers, seamstress, designers and product developers before sending it to manufacturers - Responsible for timely completion of sample and production books - Communication with suppliers; making sure product and quality level is understood, guaranteeing flawless product development

* Collection development for men’s and women’s collection, containing circular & flat knits, shirtings, outerwear & accessories. * Denham offers 4 collections a year: 2 Main collections and 2 Core (Pre) collections. * Responsible for delivering the collection to range plan in required design & quality – in time for the commercial calendar * Manage sourcing & development tasks from initial design ideas until SMS. * Overseeing follow up of Range plan: sku’s and price build up (accountable for going-in margins) * Supplier selection for all categories in order to obtain best price/quality level * Building partnerships with supplier base of 10-15 suppliers and sourcing new suppliers & vendors * setting up & maintaining development calendar * Making of full tech packs, BOM’s/ size specs and proto comments to ensure correct outcome of all SMS. * supplier visits in Portugal, Turkey, Greece, Tunesia, Asia (China/HK)

* Product developments for “Special Projects”: Marc Newson & Raw Essentials. Working with designers abroad and meeting only 1x per season at G-star HQ. * Developing from initial design idea until production sign off, including fabric and trim sourcing for Marc Newson collection * Responsible for timely completion of sample and production books * Communication with suppliers; making sure product and quality level is understood, guaranteeing flawless product development * Working with G-star atelier on development of new fits and technical solutions to inventive constructions for various garments within the Special projects collections * Handling 4 collections per year * Supplier visits in Turkey, Greece, China and Bangladesh

* Account Productmanager for one large account (Private label Outdoor) * Material sourcing and developing new products * Buying & production guidance for sampling and production * Controlling and guidance of colleagues in Eastern Europe and China office * Visiting suppliers in Eastern Europe and China

* Production guidance from design till final production * Setting up tech packs and maintaining needed product information through entire process * Maintaining supplier contacts in Europe (Portugal, Turkey) and Asia (China) * Following up the production shipments, making delivery schedule (inbound & outbound)

* Collection development for woven and jersey categories * Sourcing based on creative inspiration * 4 collections/year, including 2 shows during Paris Fashion Week * Ensure product (both collection samples and production) is manufactured to the highest standard * Price negotiations manufacturing prices * Collection archive management * Model bookings * Internships tutor
