Worked as a consulting geologist integrating data management solutions for the oil and gas industry. Involved in planning, creating, and implementing a new database for Mexico's National Oil & Gas company, where many geological and geophysical datasets from different departments had to be collected, analyzed, and organized meticulously from different locations across the country. I used Project Management methodologies, techniques, and tools to carry out tasks efficiently. I also contributed to the project by offering solutions and workflows in Geology and Geophysics applications to create an integral and more efficient database.

Provided consulting service in advanced workflows to create velocity models that allow the conversion between the time domain and the depth domain for interpretations in geological characterization projects. The service was integrated with formal training methodologies to develop simple velocity models up to velocity models that integrate velocity anisotropy analysis, processing velocity analysis, and combined models. The deliverable product was a velocity model of an offshore reservoir that helped the client have their models on the depth domain for ease of the project.

At Petrogama, I worked as a consulting geologist on a short-term contract. I was in charge of geological and geophysical processes needed to characterize reservoirs (3D Modelling) and advise the client where to look when drilling a new well location. Analyzed and validated the well and seismic data, created the structural model using multiple faults and surfaces previously interpreted in the 3D seismic cube, created stratification or layering for the model, propagated rock properties across the model geostatistics, and calculated the volume of the reservoirs. I implemented Project Management tools and techniques to address all the project phases.

At Schlumberger, I worked as a consulting Geologist developing entire projects for oil & gas exploration companies in the south of Mexico. Learned and applied Project Management skills to each project I worked on. Developed integral reservoir characterization projects (3D Models) collaborating with multiple departments and specialists from different disciplines. Projects usually required the generation of models to determine new well locations with the necessary geological conditions to find oil or gas in the area and the reservoir's volume estimation. I was in charge of the execution of processes including well-data validation, seismic validation, seismic interpretation, surface creation, well correlation, well log analysis, 3D grid creation, stratification or layering, structural modeling, property rock modeling (porosity, permeability, shale volume, water saturation), velocity modeling (time-depth conversion), volume calculation, and analysis & interpretation of the results.
