I’m an Energy and Sustainability Professional with 19+ years of experience in captive power plant operations, energy efficiency, and industrial sustainability, primarily within the steel sector from a Pastoral Town- Mecheri, Salem (TN-IND). My academic days paves me a way to accomplish Under Graduation in Mechanical Engineering (KSR College of Technology) and Post Graduation in Thermal Engineering (Anna University). Further I own credentials on Boiler Operation Engineer (BOE) license from the Government of Tamil Nadu on 2010, followed by dual recognition as a Certified Energy Manager and Energy Auditor by the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE), Government of India in 2011. In recent years, I’ve deepened my expertise in structured energy systems and regulatory frameworks by becoming a Lead Auditor in ISO 50001:2018 (Energy Management Systems). I have been at the forefront of BEE regulatory compliance initiatives in the steel industry from 2015, and since 2022, I’ve actively supported ESG integration, low-carbon pathways, and responsible industrial development. A believer in systems thinking and operational excellence, I have contributed to Total Quality Management (TQM) efforts, playing a part in securing the prestigious Deming Award for my organization. I also hold a Six Sigma Green Belt, enabling me to drive data-led improvements and process optimization.
