Suresh Mutha

An engineering graduate from Bangalore University, I embarked on my business journey with our family enterprise, Mohan Mutha Exports Pvt Ltd, in 1990, bringing with me a deep commitment to innovation and growth. Over two decades, I played a key role in driving the growth of our international trading division, strengthening the group’s export and import capabilities and establishing a robust presence across global markets. Recognizing the need for seamless trade support, I further pioneered the establishment of our Shipping & Logistics division, a strategic expansion that bolstered the group’s efficiency in handling complex logistics and empowered our clients with end-to-end solutions. This initiative not only streamlined operations but also expanded our capacity to deliver excellence across borders. In 2007, I led the group into real estate development, launching Mohan Mutha Infrastructures Pvt. Ltd. and positioning it as a leader in infrastructure and luxury living. I also initiated M20 Urban Space, blending residential, recreational, and commercial spaces to redefine modern living standards. Throughout my career, my contributions have been recognized with awards, including a decade of EEPC (Engineering Export Promotion Council) awards, as well as honors from PLEXCONCIL, CAPEXIL, and FIEO (Federation of Indian Export Organisations) for leadership in export growth. Additionally, I am honored to hold the YUVA RATHNA Award from the Rajasthan Association, Tamil Nadu, recognizing my efforts in youth empowerment. Beyond business, I am dedicated to community service and leadership. I served as the Charter Chairman of the JITO Chennai Chapter, former National President of JATF, and former National President of JITO Apex. Currently, I contribute as an active member of the Advisory Council of JITO Apex, supporting initiatives that drive social and economic growth. Looking forward, I am committed to fostering new ventures as an investor and entrepreneur, while also serving as a mentor and therapist to family businesses navigating complex dynamics. In addition to next-gen leadership development, I aim to support young leaders in achieving sustainable growth and success. My vision is to create long-term impact and meaningful value, driven by a commitment to excellence, innovation, and responsible leadership.
