After 24 years in freight forwarding, I knew the pain points all too well, from missed updates and manual tracking to poor visibility and ops teams constantly playing catch-up. What frustrated me most wasn’t just the inefficiency, but how little real innovation had been brought in to solve it. I started Frayto to fix what I had lived through, building freight tech that actually works for forwarders and exporters.

During my time at Direct Logistics, I led the company for 24 years, growing it from the ground up into a mid-sized international freight business with operations across six countries. Along the way, I built and worked alongside high-performing teams, managing complex logistics across sectors like Government, Oil & Gas, Power, and Infrastructure.

In the Army’s logistics corps, I managed the movement of fuel and supplies to some of India’s most remote border posts, often relying on everything from mules to air drops. This hands-on experience gave me a deep understanding of what it takes to move goods reliably through complex, high-stakes environments. During my posting at the world’s highest battlefield, the Siachen Glacier, I learned to lead with clarity, resilience, and discipline under extreme pressure. These experiences laid the foundation for how I design and build logistics systems today.
