Practical vouching of source documents.  Verifies accuracy of figures,  Calculations and postings pertaining to business transactions recorded by other workers.  Assessment of client’s accounting system.  Performance of compliance test (test of controls).  Performance of substantive test (test of details).  Account reconciliation.  Ensuring internal controls are working effectively.  Verification of inventory and stock record sheets.  Corrects errors or lists discrepancies for adjustments..
