Senior Vice President & Chief, New Products and Business Excellence, IISL & Dotex (Jun 2012 - Oct 2014) Delivered a 25% top line growth at IISL and Dotex . Introduced multiple successful indices including CPSE index for the Govt’s ETF and 4 unique & new products Implemented ~300 ‘Continuous Improvement’ projects. NSE clinched the CII ‘Business Excellence’ Award for the first time. Annual Strategy formulation for NSE, goal settings and KRAs for senior members of NSE. Represented NSE in multiple forums including WFE.

Senior Vice President, (Oct 2006 - Jun 2012); Vice President, (Oct 2003 - Oct 2006). Ensured default free and timely settlements across multiple segments (~ 500 settlements) , even during conditions of extreme market volatility. Conceptualized and implemented: On-line cross margining framework resulting in increased efficiency and reduction of margins to the extent of USD 1 Bn with no comprise to market safety. On-line real time client level risk management system handling around 100,000 portfolios in equity derivatives and a million portfolios in the equity market. NSE was recognised with an ‘Asia Risk’ Award for this. On-line Securities lending and borrowing mechanism and currency derivatives at NSE. Assistant Vice President, National Stock Exchange of India Ltd. (Oct 1999 - Oct 2003) Manager, National Stock Exchange of India Ltd. (Mar 1996 - Oct 1999) Assistant Manager, National Stock Exchange of India Ltd. (Mar 1995 - Mar 1996) Designed, developed, and implemented trading, clearing and settlement technology platform for equity derivatives at NSE. As CEO of derivatives segment, spearheaded business development of equity derivatives. Successfully set up and ran various functions such as member compliance, surveillance, risk management, on-line certification, etc. for NSE (Market share > 90%). Empanelment and training of independent chartered accountants to conduct inspections of NSE members.

Operational audit of various functions and Regional offices of IDBI Financing Rehabilitation Projects of Companies including those which are under the ambit of BIFR, Representing IDBI as Operating Agency to the BIFR.
