Informing and guiding farmers on how to improve the cotton production and attaining its revenue. To oversee all field level activities in your operational area. You will work primarily with farmers, supervisors, the store keepers as well as the operations manager.Your main focus to provide the Wienco Cotton package to farmers, ensure a 100% repayment and the sale of excess cotton to the company. Main task or Duties 1. Responsible for the registration (assessment) of (new) and existing members within the operational area and agreement with targets set by management 2. Responsible for the right and timely distribution of inputs to farmers and the completion of supporting documents in a timely manner 3. Work closely with the community committee to avoid diversion of inputs and to maintain high standard of quality seed cotton 4. Report any misconduct from a farmer to your supervisor 5. Provide training to farmers on good agricultural practices as laid down in our training manual. This will include field demonstrations. Summit report on this trainings to the cotton production manager 6. Accurate filing of all forms (application forms, contracts, marketing forms) and timely submission to your supervisor 7. You will also be required to perform other duties and assignments as will be determine by your zonal supervisor/production manager 8. Any other responsibilities may be assigned to you by your supervisor

A technical officer will oversee all field level activities in his operational area. He will work primarily with farmers, supervisors, the extension manager, and the operation manager. His main focus will be in providing the Masara N'Arziki package to farmers. This will include work with both the extension and operations departments. Technical Officers will serve as the link between the farmer field and the Supervisor, Extension Manager or Operations Manager. Main task or Duties 1. Assist in the Association's total promotional campaign in growing industrial crops in Ghana 2. Submit a monthly report of your daily activities and travel schedules as well as records of ;persons met and farms visited 3. Hold full responsibility for forming, registering and providing extension services support for groups of farmers under Masara Farmes Association (MAFA) in accordance with laid down procedures 4. Organize regular farmers' meetings at group and village levels and also collaborate with the district MOFA extension officers in your area of operations in the training and education of farmers on the safe and proper use of crop inputs and implements 5. Demonstrate on farms the proper use and application of the MAFA crop package 6. Organize communities to assemble at central locations for regular updates on the status of the Programme 7. Monitor and assist in collecting data from MAFA demonstration farms in your area of operation 8. Facilitate the attainment of high payback among among MAFA farmer groups 9. Distribute and account for all inputs delivered to all MAFA groupts in your operational area 10. You will also be required to perform other duties and assignments as will be determined by the Extension Manager or Operation Manager 11. You will report directly to your supervisor 13. Any other work that may arise through the MAFA Policies
