Key Results Area & Achievements #Handled team of professionals engaged in Production Planning, BOM Configuration, Despatch Coordination, Outbound Logistics (Domestic & Overseas), Export-Import documentation, Custom Clearance etc. # Control and execute all aspects of production within a cost centre (factory within factory) including Production, Shop Floor Planning, Stores - Warehouse, Internal Logistics and Supply chain management function. # Ensure strong and active working as internal supply chain, material follow ups with external suppliers, proper planning , internal logistics to set up a smooth and lean material flow with in department. # Fixing the plant Capacity in coordination with “Production Head” and communicating the same to Global Planning & Sales. Ensuring on time and completeness delivery machine and parts. Planning of global production activities aligned with Demand Planning from Sales # Optimize Production process by applying Operational excellence methodology ( 5S, Kaizen ,visual factory, Makigami etc..)

* Key Result Areas: * Heading Materials function in “Low Voltage Switchboard factory” in Ahmednagar. Steering a team of 9 professionals engaged in entire array of supply chain operations encompassing Procurement (Domestic & Imports), Sourcing, Materials Planning, Inventory Control, Logistics (Inbound & Outbound), Despatch and Stores Management. * Responsible for procurement worth of Rs 120 Crores per annum including Assembly components, Raw Materials, Packing Materials, Capital items and Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics Equipments. * Achieve Cost Reduction as per Target through rate negotiation, establishing Rate Contracts and locating alternate cheaper sources. * Reduce Inventory levels as per Target through proper planning, surplus utilisation and improving overall supply chain. * Support Production in achieving Budgeted Targets by ensuring timely availability of items as our products are tailor-made (Project Business).

Key Result Areas: # Responsible for Procurement of Mining Equipments & its Spares, Domestic stores & consumables, OEM spares, capital goods/machinery, Raw materials, Chemicals and other general store. # Handled Imports for a diverse range of materials including raw materials, spare parts, capital goods/machinery etc right from vendor selection, negotiation, procurement, LC opening, EPCG/Other duty benefits, overseas logistics, custom clearance, billing / documentation and export obligation. # Developing vendor base to reduce total cost of ownership for categories handled. Keeping track of supplier market & initiating proactive actions to safeguard the organisational interests. Use Group synergy in high volume buying.
