* To manage demand planning (monthly) of netting and ropes for approximately 4000 SKUs. Largely we work on Make to Order manufacturing process. * To review with manufacturing team for timely receipt of the committed SKUs. * To manage distribution planning from manufacturing plants to various warehouses and customers’ locations, Material is moved from plant to either to the warehouse or to the direct customers’ location. * To manage inventory planning. Inventory is monitored as per the inventory target and as per the various ageing inventory target. Stock of fresh production and stock of earlier production are tracked separately. * Actions on the available capacity in the plants. In co-ordination with the sales team, forecast and identify probable bottleneck machine groups for the next 2 months’ horizon and accordingly pre produce the stock with CEO’s approval. * To maintain freight cost as per the target. Levers used are contract with the transporters and vehicle utilization.

* Chief Tasks – Supply Chain Management of Air Conditioners and Microwave Ovens * To manage demand planning (monthly) of ACs and Microwaves based on past trends and current market conditions. * To co-ordinate with sourcing team/manufacturing team for timely receipt/production as per plan. * To manage supply planning to branches (fortnightly) and ensuring at least 95% availability at all the branches for each fortnightly closing. * To co-ordinate with central logistics team for timely dispatches to branches. * To manage inventory planning of ACs and Microwaves based on 3 months’ rolling sales plan. To control ageing stock across branches.

* Chief Tasks Handled * To monitor the overall functioning of chemical processes; identifying improvement areas and implementing measures to minimize overall loss of heat/mass. * To handle complete day to day control room operations. * Significant Contributions * Successfully executed various process calculations viz. Heat Balance, Mass Balance & Gas Flow Calculations. * Developed and implemented a system for flue gas measurement thereby improving heat efficiency by 10% over a period of 6 months.
