Subhrangshu Sanyal

A startup evangelist and ecosystem builder, I work at the intersection of entrepreneurship, innovation, and impact. As the CEO of the Financial Inclusion Trust, I partner closely with entrepreneurs, helping them accelerate growth through strategic guidance and access to capital and networks. Previously, as the CEO of IIM Calcutta’s business incubator, I collaborated with government bodies, academia, corporates, and investors to shape a strong entrepreneurial ecosystem—particularly across East and North-East India. My work spans sourcing high-potential ventures, designing incubation / acceleration programs, mentoring founders, and enabling funding support.With deep expertise in innovation management, business process re-engineering, and large-scale program management, I have led initiatives across diverse geographies and sectors. My foundation combines rigorous consulting experience with multidisciplinary academic training—a PhD from National Law University, a PGDM (MBA) from IIM Calcutta, and a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering from Jadavpur University.I am passionate about empowering early-stage founders, strengthening regional innovation ecosystems, and building institutions that create long-term, inclusive impact.
