I have been working in the materials handling business for the past 35 years since I first started unloading trucks in the Manitou UK distribution hub, I certainly don't miss those cold UK days. Over these years I have been fortunate to work in an industry and business where no 2 days are ever the same. Working across different industries, construction, agriculture, mining, defence, you name it, I have worked in it, building solutions to customers' problems has been immensely satisfying. The versatility of the Manitou Telehandler since the first machines sold in Australia to the market acceptance today has just reinforced my passion for this industry that keeps on delivering new opportunities and challenges to help people. I have always been mindful that we have a role to play in society, always seeking to make work easier, safer, and more enjoyable. Today in 2023 we face new challenges and I am ready to support the team at Manitou Australia, proud to contribute to the group’s success. Proud to support a team that is passionate about their work, and proud of the group’s history and roots.
