Accomplished technology leader with over 25 years of experience across the private and public sector, predominantly in the heavily regulated financial services industry. Responsible for the development, management and delivery of Goodbody’s technology strategy, solutions architecture and information security in addition to leading the delivery of key technology change and ongoing operational management of the firm’s technology services and outsourced/managed service providers, ensuring alignment to the firm’s business, operation, risk and cost strategies. Track record of successfully defining and leading numerous innovative technology solutions, both internally developed and delivered through managed service partners and solution providers. In recent years, he has led and delivered multi-year strategic programmes to reinvent the entire Goodbody Technology environment, providing the firm the services, resources and tools they need to deliver the overall business strategy whilst ensuring regulatory compliance, security and availability. A strong communicator with breadth of experience to adapt and translate concepts to the intended audience in their language (vertically through business layers to board level, horizontally across business functions, to auditors and regulators) to ensure alignment to and delivery of the overall business strategy. His experience covers a broad array of areas including governance, risk management, development, solution architecture, data analytics, security, networking, voice, infrastructure and collaboration solutions.
