Led teenagers on camping expeditions throughout New England and eastern United States. I encouraged group participation and self-confidence in campers. At the conclusion of summer camp season, I continued on as a Group facilitator for adult groups for team building and adventure programs. Key Achievements: Led a group of campers on a nine-day trip to Washington D.C volunteering in homeless shelters and soup kitchens helping the underprivileged. Coordinated a group of campers on a seven-day horseriding tour of the Shenandoah Valley.

My greatest achievement was leading a group of 20 students on a seven-day hike around King Island from Currie to Grassy.

I also liaised with bushland contractors and community groups to deliver work programs. Key Achievement Created a self-guided walking trail for three large remnant bushland reserves, including the installation of numbered posts and accompanying walking trail notes.

* Stuart delivered Council's bushland interpretive program to local school students and residents. * He actively engaged with the local community by providing guided bushwalks, school environmental excursions, delivered environmental workshops and created promotional material. * Key Achievements * Project managed the ‘Our Local Wildlife’ Storybook Competition for Year 5 students; * Coordinated a community event with 55 volunteers to rehabilitate a bushland reserve; * Developed and maintained important relationships with local public and secondary schools.

* Stuart is Natural Assets Officer at Willoughby City Council and is responsible for coordinating Council’s Bushland Reserve Action Plan program. He also coordinates Council's Bushland Interpretive program for local high schools delivering field based excursions for all year levels. * On weekends he trains and supervises two Bushcare volunteer groups. One based at Chatswood Intensive English Centre and one in Castlecrag. Stuart organises meetings, prepares agendas and take minutes for Council’s Natural Heritage & Bushland Advisory Committee. * Key Achievements * Produced the Urban Bushland Plan of Management Volume 2 listing all of Willoughby’s natural assets; * Prepared and successfully delivered a grant that regenerated 13ha of degraded saltmarsh; * Created a new high school education program that has over 750 participating students. * Skills * Excellent Interpersonal and Communication skills * Community Engagement * Natural Area Management * Project Management * Project Evaluation
