Stuart Guest

Son of a former fruit farmer in Hawkhurst, Kent, now known as the English Appleman or Dad to me. I am Father to a Daughter & Son, both growing up fast. My son is the chief taster for the English Appleman. Much of my earlier career was spent working in the City of London where I gained seventeen years’ experience working for investment banks and brokers. The majority of that time I worked as an equity sales trader servicing pension funds trading desks. I’ve now gone back to my roots working for NFU Mutual Ashford/Tenterden as part of the commercial team, helping local businesses in the food, drink and hospitality sectors. I enjoy building lasting relationships and assisting all kinds of businesses in arranging insurance cover to meet their individual needs. In my spare time I enjoy playing Squash. It quickly became my passion and I now enjoy playing team matches in the South-East Kent squash leagues and coach the sport too.
