Very pleased to say i am starting on September 1 at AutoSparks Ltd as their Group GM. This is a local Ashburton based role and will take in the overall management of three of their Automotive related business. These being the separate business units of Auto Super Shop, Autosparks auto electrical and the Super Utes 4x4 accessories retail and installation businesses. As the role title suggest i will he responsible for all staffing (including the HR functions), the individual business performances and the H&S requirements. This is a very exciting opportunity to be involved at a senior level in these locally owned and very successful enterprises.

Very pleased and excited to have started my new role as GM for Automotive Compliance Ltd. I am sure the overview of our 4 current locations (2 in ChCh and 2 in Auckland) will keep me busy but also allow me to utilise the skills and learnings i have developed throughout my working career to date where i have been very lucky to have worked with some great innovative companies and many equally skilled colleagues.

Responsible for the overall management of the Service workshops, parts & warehousing departments, component Rebuild facility & hydraulic hose manufacturing facility for the Christchurch Head Office, Greymouth (including the Stockton satellite facility) and the Nelson branches. (CHCH & Nelson are two of the three largest financial operations within Transdiesel) Overall 5 direct reports and over 45 indirect with budgets in excess of $15m. Previous management responsibilities included the Warranty and Product Support (Technical departments) also based in Christchurch. Day to day operational requirements included all aspects of HR (recruitment & staff management) H&S (including audits to ensure compliance) plus financial P&L review and corrective actions implemented (where required).

Oversee the three Central North Island Branches in Tauranga, Rotorua and Taupo. Responsible for 6 direct reports and over 30 indirect across the three locations. Transdiesel are a major player in the construction equipment sales and service sectors with premium brands, such as Volvo and Yanmar leading the way.

Responsible for the Branch Management of the construction rental equipment for the wider Bundaberg region of central Queensland. Tasked to rebuild the branch and its infrastructure after the devastation caused by the floods earlier this year.

Recruited directly from New Zealand, i was bought over to Adelaide by Cavil Power Products (CAT Rental SA) in preparation for the multi-billion dollar expansion with BHP in Olympic Dam. Overall management of the three "Cat Rental Store" Branches across South Australia, including the management of the branch managers, territory sales managers and fleet service manager. 4 Direct reports (Branch Managers, Sales Managers and fleet service manager) plus over 20 indirect (mechanics, leading hands and hire coordinators) Responsible for fleet and financial performance across the business, develop and implement business processes where required to generate and maintain future business across the region.

Managed the South Island of NZ for Generator and temperature controlled equipment hire. Initially went to Christchurch on behalf on NZ Generator Hire to open a Branch in Christchurch to manage the business across the South Island. Aggreko purchased NZ Generator hire in April 2011 where my duties evolved along with the implementation of the Aggreko systems and procedures. - Assisted in the integration of the two businesses and their respective process and procedures. - Financial management of the region - Fleet management of the region. - Major projects management (Earthquake emergency provisions and solutions (20MW) plus the Rugby World Cup of 2011)

Branch manager for Tauranga then went to Christchurch to open the branch and provide generator and temperature controlled rental equipment to the South Island.

Began as a general duties Constable in Tokoroa and finished up in the CIB environment in Kaitaia
