Project: The Saudi Arabian Chevron Business Administration & Residential Community (SBARC), PIF Project Description: The project, located in Al Khafji city in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia, covered a total area of 220,000 m² with a contract value of SAR 607 million. It comprised the development of office facilities, residential villas, bachelor apartments, community amenities, and external infrastructure. The scope included site preparation, civil and structural works, utilities, landscaping, and road networks. Responsibilities fulfilled: • Evaluates and approves shop drawings, ensuring alignment with design specifications and project requirements. • Supervised overall civil and structural works to ensure compliance with contract documents, design drawings, and project specifications. • Reviewed shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, ITPs, MIRs, lab test reports, and subcontractor prequalification documents. • Evaluated concrete and asphalt mix designs, trial mixes, and raw material test reports for approval. • Acted as the primary point of contact for all technical correspondence with clients, main contractors, and subcontractors. • Attended and contributed to technical and progress meetings; prepared draft minutes for documentation. • Managed and trained a team of site inspectors, assigning responsibilities to ensure effective project supervision. • Conducted QA/QC inspections on-site and issued NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) and SONs (Site Observation Notes) for non-compliance. • Reviewed and addressed test reports and contractor responses to close quality issues. • Ensured all works adhered to relevant codes, standards, and local regulations. • Monitored work progress against the approved project schedule and identified potential delays. • Conducted factory visits to inspect fabrication processes and verify compliance with specifications and design drawings.

Project: Ministry of Culture (MOC) - King Fahad Cultural Centre Responsibilities fulfilled: • Review and assess design drawings, including as-built drawings, to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements. • Implement changes in design drawings based on site conditions or project requirements, using advanced structural engineering software. • Utilize software tools such as SAP2000, ETABs, Idea Statica, and AutoCAD for structural analysis and design verification. • Ensure all designs and modifications comply with relevant codes and standards, including ACI, ASCE, AISC, IBC, and SBC. • Evaluates and approves shop drawings, ensuring alignment with design specifications and project requirements. • Assessed and approved material submittals to ensure compliance with project requirements. • Reviewed and endorsed requests to commence work based on submitted method statements. • Conducted thorough inspections and provided approvals for work inspection reports. • Inspected concrete and steel structures to verify quality and adherence to standards. • Approved structural steel components after rigorous testing in accordance with industry standards. • Oversaw the jacking of rebars during the construction of new concrete members alongside existing ones. • Identified and reported non-conformance issues promptly. • Provided expert guidance on structural aspects during site visits and consultations. • Collaborated with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to address technical queries and resolve construction challenges. • Ensured adherence to safety protocols, industry standards, and project specifications. • Assessed potential risks related to structural integrity, stability, and design modifications. • Proposed effective solutions to mitigate risks and maintain project safety.

Beyond my extensive on-site experience, I've also worked as a remote civil engineering expert for various global firms and clients. This experience has significantly honed my professional skills and given me a broad understanding of diverse work cultures and practices. Design Standards: Performed design according to proper standards. Utilized the AISC manual for steel design and ACI for concrete design concrete. Load Application: Applied gravity, seismic, and wind loads using IBC 2018 (ASCE 7-16). Deliverables: Upon approval of design calculations, submitted proper drawings and design calculations to clients.

Projects: Buildings and Infrastructures Responsibilities fulfilled: • Conducted comprehensive analysis and design of mega structures, including malls, high-rises, and wedding halls, in compliance with building codes and design specifications. • Utilized advanced software such as ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE, and Tekla Structure Designer for structural analysis and design. • Developed and verified structural drawings and calculations, ensuring adherence to industry codes and standards and alignment with client expectations. • Collaborated with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure structural integrity and project feasibility within budget and time constraints. • Oversaw on-site implementation of structural designs, inspected project execution, and resolved issues to enhance quality and safety. • Involved in the strengthening of concrete structures through design and supervised the construction of steel structures. • Directed foundation enhancement for radio towers at the British High Commission in Islamabad. • Managed site inspections, non-destructive testing, and quality assurance. • Coordinated expert structural repairs and led a team in executing a comprehensive strengthening plan. • Ensured project completion with detailed documentation and adherence to design specifications.

This included the Design, Supervision, Feasibility Studies, Detailed Designs, Construction Drawings, Specifications, and Technical Reports. • Supervised and ensured Quality Control across all projects, delivering high-quality work that met or exceeded expectations. • Led the Design of the APS New Block for Boys, demonstrating a commitment to educational infrastructure. • Oversaw the Design of 5 Multistory Flats for the Agricultural University, showcasing expertise in residential construction. • Managed the Design of an Overhead Water Tank, highlighting skills in utility infrastructure. • Directed the Design of Substructures of Bridges and Culverts according to AASHTO LRFD Standards, demonstrating knowledge of industry standards. • Conducted regular Site Inspections to Monitor progress and ensure adherence to Design Specifications and Safety Standards. • Led Project Meetings and Presented design ideas and information to clients and team members.
