Strongfit Singapore to conduct New Dancefit Routines for the Public in conjunction with Decathlon Singapore Lab, Community Club and Private School. It’s Dancefit with a twist. It’s not line dancing… that’s too slow. It’s not the foreign import Latin Zumba. It’s a new and special group dancing to familiar tunes from today and yesteryear.  The dance programme was created by Benjamin Ang, the founder of Strongfit Singapore Pte Ltd. Mr Ang, who has a background in wellness and health is the creater of this exercises. Targetted at an older age group from 20 onwards, the dances music from the 1960’s onwards. "Dancing to the music you know and love is a tonic for the senses. And nowhere else can the group find these dance moves, designed to sweat and designed for enjoyment of dance. Because everybody loves to dance!” says Mr Ang.  The group exercises non stop for 60 minutes or more  and many have reported its benefits in terms of mood, sleep patterns, health and weight loss. "Exercise is not always easy to stick to. But in a group, and with dance moves, it becomes a passion for our students” adds Mr Ang. He has designed dance workouts to give every part of the body a full exercise regimen. The secret? “Everybody likes to dance”, says Benjamin. “It satisfies the part of us that loves the emotion and nostalgia that dance brings.” Strongfit Singapore’s YouCanDance!  is for all ages. It’s not about getting the dance moves 100% right. It’s about the swinging and moving the body to release those endorphins for a natural high. Strongfit’s motto is Exercise for All Ages. "No age group should be excluded and in fact, you’ll be surprised at how many seniors and retirees join the group to exercise regularly twice a week or more,” says Benjamin.
