Technical Project Manager & Team Lead
I co-led a critical R&D project in solar cell manufacturing, delivering a world-first pilot production tool for copper-plated solar cells on a decisive timeline. This effort achieved over 99% yield and exceeded all key performance targets, directly contributing to millions of dollars in subsequent funding and earning me a joint "Game Changer" award from company leadership. Directly managing a team of three production technicians, my responsibilities also included leading and managing multi-disciplinary engineering teams, overseeing projects from the initial planning and strategy phases through to final delivery. I provided technical and project leadership, ensuring ambitious goals are met through timely execution and have a strong commitment to delivering tangible results. Additionally, I co-lead technical operations through joint ventures with industry leaders, managing complex, multi-company projects. My primary focus remains on driving continuous technological improvement alongside successful project delivery.

Project Lead & Senior Process Engineer
My role included full responsibility for the research, development, and process optimisation of a one-of-a-kind direct-plating production line focused on copper-plated solar cells. This effort surpassed key performance targets and drove continuous improvement, directly contributing to key company milestones.

Lead Engineer - Plating
Led a small team of engineers in the upscaling and commercialisation of a novel manufacturing process in solar cell technology. Managed a pilot production line and optimised copper plating procedures to ensure process stability and efficiency.

PV Project Engineer
Sydney, New South Wales, Australia
Project Engineer specialising in the design and execution of commercial-scale PV projects, from 30kW to 1MW. My role involved hands-on design work, from developing detailed PV site plans and single-line diagrams to creating inverter schematics. I also drove the project lifecycle by managing procurement, generating accurate Bills of Materials, and processing STC/LGC applications to ensure projects met technical standards and regulatory requirements. I also initiated the development of a simple Python GUI to semi-automate the creation of final project reports after seeing an opportunity to improve the efficiency of critical document collection.

Vacation Research Student
A 3 month scholarship, where I investigated multiple optical modelling programs to better understand next generation, perovskite-Si tandem solar cell optical profiles. An outcome from my work resulted in the Solar Technologies Team going forward with my selection of a shortlisted optical modelling software for ongoing use. I was also exposed to fabrication techniques of perovskite-silicon tandem solar cells and techniques to measure optical properties of material layers in a device.
