Steven has a broad corporate tax background. After qualifying in 2002, Steven joined KPMG’s UK tax practice in Manchester in 2006 specialising in providing international tax planning advice and compliance services to local and international companies. He moved to the M&A tax team in 2007 before joining KPMG’s United Arab Emirates tax practice in January 2010. Since Steven began advising on transactions in 2007, he has been involved in a range of deals on behalf of clients ranging from owner-managed businesses to listed companies. He has undertaken in excess of 100 due diligence projects (both buy side and vendor due diligence) and structuring assignments. Steven also has significant experience of undertaking tax audit and tax provisioning work under IFRS and UK GAAP for a range of multinational clients.
