I was a member of a team that designed, trained staff, implemented, and supported an imaging system that scanned and processed invoices.

* In addition to gardening and tree work, I performed administrative duties * wrote the City’s Integrated Pest Management Plan and coordinated the citywide Integrated Pest Management Program * prepared and monitored budgets * organized aerial photos * and wrote a variety of reports, correspondence, and a successful grant proposal.

My employment with Trade Tech started with testing web-based software for the international shipping industry. This included interfacing with the customer service, sales, and programming departments to develop testing procedures and to resolve issues. As my abilities were recognized and the needs of the company changed, I was soon doing business analysis, creating project specifications, debugging software, correcting data issues and programming. In 2011, I was officially promoted to Software Developer. My work has included extensive experience with SQL using MySQL (8 years), JavaScript/Node.js (2 years), and Perl (1 year), and some experience with MongoDB, Git, and JIRA in a Linux environment. Projects that I have worked on have included the creation of a data migration system that copies data back and forth from a legacy database to a MySQL database, creation of complex accounting reports, test scripts for a back end automated test system, and creation of metaobjects for a RESTful interface to a MySQL database.
