• Experience in Upstream Oil & Gas company. • Perform External & Internal Analysis utilising PESTLE, Resource Audit & SWOT to enable an understanding of what of changes are acceptable to the organisation. • Stakeholder identification and analysis to understand roles, problems, authority and perspectives utilising tools like Stakeholder Wheel, Power Interest Grid & CATWOE analysis. • Engaging key stakeholders during initial analysis study to ensure perspectives are understood and their impact on the project can be managed, while meeting expectations. • Perform a review for key stakeholders (primarily Field Managers) to develop a strategy for Visual Asset Management. • Perform Business Analysis and Project Management activities for the implementation of a cumulative risk tool. This application supports the demonstration that assets risk level is As Low As Reasonably Practicable (ALARP). This includes following in house PMO framework. • Perform Business Analysis exploration activities to develop Business Case for Portfolio and Resource Management application. Engaging with senior stakeholders including VP’s & GM’s across to company to ensure all stakeholders perspective are understood and aligned with project delivery.

Business Analysis Core Activities • Perform External & Internal Analysis utilising PESTLE, Resource Audit & SWOT to enable an understanding of what of changes are acceptable to the organisation. • Engage Stakeholder to understand their roles, problems, authority and perspectives utilising tools like Stakeholder Wheel, Power Interest Grid & CATWOE analysis. • Creation of outline Business Case (Feasibility Study) to advance Project Proposal to establish potential project viability. • Lead workshops to extract and document Process Maps for Current (AS IS) and Future (TO BE) states covering HR, Payroll & Finance business processes. • Requirement elicitation utilising Process Maps, Stakeholder Engagement & Market Intelligence prioritising using MoSCoW method. • Development of Tender documents ensuring that potential systems can meet requirements. • Lead tender evaluation team ensuring high quality understanding of options and high Stakeholder buy in to overall outcome. • Further development of Business Case to ensure project viability and benefits realisation are clearly outlined to allow tracking. Project Management Activities • Participate and support the full Project Start-up following PRINCE2 methodology; ensuring Project Initiation Documents (PID) and Business Case objectives are aligned. • Ensure Risks, Issues, Actions & Decisions are actively managed to ensure the success of the Project. • Ensure all project reporting is performed and up to date for all levels within the organisation. General Activities • Development of Committee Papers to gain Councillor approval for project. • Lead the development of Business Analysis Framework for Aberdeen City Council in line with BCS standards ensuring compatibility with PRINCE2 Project Management methodology. • Understanding and management of project procurement activities including inputting into Contract Call-off. • Perform interviews and peer reviews to support the improvement of the team.

• Implementing Address Accelerator for Raiser’s Edge in collaboration with vendor and the University IT Team. • Leading the progression and implementation of agreed Data Enrichment Service to enhance the quality of the Raiser’s Edge data. • Leading the progression and implementation of agreed data quality improvements. • Reviewing Data Auditing to implement and document agreed audit procedures. • Creation of operational procedure and documentation to ensure sustainability on improvements implemented.

• Leading the development of all IT systems by working with key stakeholders and business users in order to define business requirements and ensure they align with the company’s overall strategy and objectives. • Identifying and driving process improvements across the organisation. • Responsibility for ensuring change control and change management procedures are followed within the project team as they relate to requirements. • Develop and manage project plan for the implementation of developments and enhancements to make sure that they are implemented in a timely manner to meet company objectives. • Liaising with senior management to assist with priority setting and provide project update to ensure alignment with corporate objectives. • Actively involved in the implementation on major projects within the software system. In particular the was demonstrated with the development of the Material requirements planning (MRP) and Customer relationship management (CRM) modules. This required me to understand the current and future needs of the users at the design phase to ensuring the project output/delivery would meet the business requirements.

• Critically evaluating information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs • Identifying, analysing and documenting business requirements and deliver work products throughout the project life cycle. • Examining the current structure of operations and offers solution based on the needs of the business. • Identifying points of weaknesses and aims to eliminate them by incorporating the present business practices with newer technology systems and efficient processes. • Analysing the company policies and various business processes to see if they are truly effective in the current market. • Creating program enhancements specification to define IT requirements deliver on Business Objectives. • Testing enhancements/developments to ensure successfully delivery of requirements.

• Creating and maintaining custom software solutions in order to meet the needs of the business using VB.Net. • Working with key business stakeholders to understand their issues/requirements/needs and propose new or amendments to existing programs in order to provide a solution. • Providing training and support to users for the system ensuring that they are suitably competent to perform their job using the new programs. • Creating reports (Crystal Reports) for management and other key business users to understand the current state of the business by interrogating the system. • Provide a high-level Road Map for the development of the system in order to share with senior management and users how the system is to be progressed.

• Providing overall responsibility for all IT Systems within the local facility. • Ensuring existing systems and new developments meet the facilities strategic goals. • Controlling Budget to ensure all IT spend was properly authorised and required in line with requirements to run the facility. • Leading and supporting the personnel development of a small technical team within the facility. • Actively participating in the European IT Lead Team ensuring best practice and knowledge sharing in performed throughout the European facilities.

• Providing front line support for users with issues on the Manufacturing ERP System. This ranged from supporting/training them with their understanding of the system to uncovering potential software issues. • Where applicable liaise with external software provider to find solutions to any problems / bugs within the EPR System. • Creation of reports for management and other key business users to understand the current state of the business by interrogating the ERP System. This was done using Crystal Reports as well as SQL/Oracle queries and Data Warehouse Tools (IBM InfoSphere DataStage). In particular many of the reports done for the local facility for sales department became standard sales reports across all European sites. • Utilising other tools on smaller projects to provide support for the manufacturing plant using VB.Net and PI ProcessBook. These solutions would combine information from the ERP System with process control information.
