As an Manufacturing Engineering intern, I: Supported manufacturing engineers by implementing lean engineering and 6-Sigma methods to streamline part production, did data collection of various machines for speeds and feeds, optimized floor layouts of machines, and reverse engineered essential machine parts using SolidWorks. Enhanced manufacturing documentation and designed manufacturing tools to support production. Performed cost reduction analyses to streamline manufacturing processes and implemented solutions to improve efficiency. Assisted quality engineers in preparing and review First Article Inspection (FAI) documentation to ensure compliance with customer requirements. Designed and fabricated cooling systems for industrial vibrational testers using in-house parts to enhance operational safety.

Work with project leads to help lead design and manufacturing of project plane. Advising Media, Fuselage, Aerodynamics, and Propulsion team to ensure streamlined process of researching each component of plane and making sure deadlines are met regarding manufacturing cycle.

Project Manager for the UCI Solar Airplane Project. Working on recruitment tasks, scheduling meetings, facilitating with faculty, and communication with corporate entities to progress our project. Managed group of student engineers to develop balsa plane lined with solar panels in hopes to fly UAV for humanitarian aid relief.

Collaborating with a team of student engineers to design and manufacture wing and tail structures of a remote controlled solar powered airplane.

Acted as the Senior Design Project Representative for AIAA at UCI. Engaged students at various AIAA events on campus and during regional conferences, facilitated SolidWorks design workshops, planned networking nights for members of the club.

For MAE 52, my final project was to design a Fairchild Republic A-10 Thunderbolt II, commonly known as the A-10 Warthog, in Solidworks. A short one minute video was prepared to show the steps as well as stress analysis done to show the dynamics of the plane.
