* Diomede Storage is a green, energy-efficient cloud storage service for companies with archival and backup data. The Company is well positioned to compete against Amazon S3, the current market leader. Diomede's patent-pending Hybrid Storage technology has introduced game changing economics to the backup, archival, and disaster recovery data storage markets. * Secure enterprise storage for less than $0.01 per GB. * Less than 0.5 microwatts per MB stored. * 60 times less power consumption than traditional data storage systems.

* MediaMax was spun-out of Streamload taking over the company’s legacy subscription-based, consumer storage service. * Started all new company from the ground-up: team, strategy, product, office & IT infrastructure. * Raised $570k in new capital, hired and managed 12-person offshore engineering team, and successfully built an entirely new consumer web application and API. * Maintained customer and partner commitments, and generated $1.5M in revenue in first 12 months. * The Company ultimately failed due to unresolved IP licensing issues and a massive technical failure with the parent company. An extremely disappointing outcome, but many valuable lessons were learned.

I participate as a speaker and mentor at the Founder Institute's San Diego, Singapore, Jakarta, and Paris chapters.

Researched and lived in rural Kenya in Chande, a village on Kiwayu Island near Somalia. - Learned conversational Swahili. - Didn't use a computer for about 5 months.
