I am passionate about working with children and their families in order to assist them to become more successful and self-sufficient. I enjoy learning about new people, lifestyles, and their cultures. I also believe that in order to help individuals you must work from a systems perspective and consider all aspects of their lives and how they influence the individual. I strongly believe that as a social worker you must be open and aware of yourself in order to be the best social worker for the clients that you work with. My mottos: Be the social worker you would want to have. Your job is not to judge. Your job is not to figure out if someone deserves something. Your job is to lift the fallen, to restore the broken, and to heal the hurting.
