FICO Decision Management Platform (DMP) provides the cloud based foundational platform services, process orchestration, ML model deployment and decisioning capability for all modern FICO AI/ML based offerings. Assumed the DMP role to re-focus engineering effort on stability, engineering productivity, DevOps and COGS reduction. Operating as a player-coach, identified and eliminated sources of instability, toil and burdensome cost. Cut annualized platform spend on AWS by $4M via architectural refactoring, engaging product teams and re-aligning reward systems.

Provided technology strategy and operational leadership for the FICO Financial crime product line as well as the platform-enabled core services used throughout the larger FICO portfolio. FICO protects 65% of all global accounts (2.6B) with $90B saved annually by Fintechs, payment processors, card networks and Tier1 banks.

Scaled the Falcon engineering team beyond payment card fraud to include first and third-party fraud, identity resolution, and card comprise management. Drove economy of scale at the platform level and modernized product architecture. Major processors achieved sustained payment fraud detection transaction rates above 300M txn/per day with <20msec latency. Grew the fraud, risk, and compliance line of business organically building eight new greenfield products while at the same time consistently exceeding plan for existing revenue streams. Technical due diligence for strategic acquisitions to further enrich the product portfolio; strengthened positions in customer communications, Anti Money Laundering (AML), customer onboarding, KYC, ID Verification and regulatory compliance domains. Monetized payment transaction consortium (200B txns) with a suite of suite of cloud-native, containerized applications to produce the Falcon Intelligence Network. The solution offers: consortium driven card compromise detection, self service data for AI model training and customer facing performance benchmarking. Increased addressable market for Fraud Predictor product by $21M and saved $3M annually producing merchant data formerly purchased from card network. Trusted technology advisor to sales leaders and customer executives in presales and incident management contexts.

Delivered award-winning SaaS AdTech data analytics portfolio, to facilitate cross-media performance management and optimization of global-scale digital marketing campaigns: paid search, display, social media, and SEO. Scaled product delivery, operations, and support at B round funding milestone - transitioned value chain to lean methodology to empower rapid growth and KPI measurement. Evolved SDLC from Scrum to Kanban for fast flow. Increased productivity by 36% with stable headcount.
