With over 25 years in the health and fitness industry, I have built my career around helping individuals, organisations and communities improve health, wellbeing and performance through practical, sustainable solutions.As the founder of Intelligent Fitness Cornwall, I developed a boutique personal training business and private studio facility (The Riverside Suite), delivering personalised coaching, rehabilitation programmes and corporate wellbeing initiatives. Alongside this, I have worked with local businesses to deliver Health & Safety week programmes, wellbeing workshops and staff engagement initiatives.My specialist areas include cancer rehabilitation (Level 4 qualified), neurological exercise (including Parkinson’s support), and long-term health-focused coaching. I am particularly known for developing the Active Pants Project (cancer rehabilitation) and the Thrive Project (Parkinson’s support), both recognised within the local community.Over the course of my career, I have built strong relationships across the South West fitness sector, working with clients, organisations, and industry partners. I regularly attend industry events such as Elevate and maintain a strong understanding of fitness equipment, client needs and emerging trends.I have also been invited as a fitness expert on BBC Radio Cornwall and BBC Spotlight, and was selected as an Airbnb Fitness Host, delivering tailored training experiences for visiting clients.Having spent many years running my own business, I am now looking to transition into roles within the wider fitness industry where I can bring my experience, commercial awareness and relationship-building skills.
