Supporting business development activities and organizational strategy around DoriNano's programmable DNA nanoparticles, including internal therapeutic programs.

Lead team focused on identifying differentiating technologies developed across the Broad and then scaling them in partnership with the originating lab to enable widespread usage within therapeutic applications. Ensure strategic alignment of selected technologies with CDoT's drug discovery portfolio and other Broad stakeholder interests.

Within the Center for the Development of Therapeutics (CDoT), led team of 13 scientists responsible for Compound Management, High-Content Imaging, Laboratory Automation, and Scientific Outreach. Developed robust pipeline of internal and external collaborations around cellular assays, especially with imaging readouts, and automation capabilities, with a strategic emphasis on the rare disease community. Additionally, served as interim Director of Operations for CDoT, working with Broad Administration and CDoT Finance on new financial models for CDoT as a specialized service facility (SSF). Included were financial models to guide a strategic reorganization of CDoT to align financial and organizational structure with "how" CDoT works.

Led CDoT finance, space, and project resourcing functions with close collaboration across Broad administration groups. Continued refinement and improvement of CDoT financial models (expense and recovery), specifically around project infrastructure and core platform services. Developed sustainable model for the Broad Institute Drug Repurposing Library. Key contributor in developing portal for intake and evaluation of both potential new therapeutic targets and Broad community small molecule screening campaigns.

Managed team of 10-12 scientists responsible for analytical chemistry, compound management, and HTS functions within CDoT. Guided development of novel mass-spec based binding and enzymatic assays in addition to mass spec-based fragment and covalent binding screens. Lead on renovation of 10k sqft of CDoT lab space including purchase and installation of new compound store. Overhauled CDoT financial forecasting and reporting with focus on tracking deliverables and understanding and recovering expenses.

Led team of analytical scientists in the Chemical Biology/Therapeutics Platform responsible for (1) purity assessment and purification of small molecules for inclusion in compound collection for high-throughput screening, (2) in vitro ADME assays, and (3) cleavage/formatting of diversity-oriented synthetic compounds from solid state lanterns, serving as central analytical support group for Broad Institute therapeutic efforts. Introduced new technologies to meet increasing throughput and efficiency needs. Built in vitro ADME capabilities from scratch and coordinated internal and external in vitro and in vivo PK. Responsible for all aspects of group management including workflow, personnel and budget.

Worked as part of team within Global Quality Sciences - Analytical Sciences to develop and validate analytical HPLC methods for legacy products in response to European regulatory questions. Methods were developed following all applicable cGMP and 21CFR part 11 regulations. Additional responsibilities included authoring and executing training on cGMP related documents, certifying global reference standards, and providing analytical investigative support for manufacturing investigations.
