Worked two summers in different capacities. Served as a site engineer during the construction of Promedica's Defiance Regional Medical Center during one summer and served as an estimator during the other summer.

I assisted in the management and construction of a $2M +/- renovation of a nursing home in Zanesville, OH. The project entailed building additional residential rooms, renovating and adding onto the new dining room, and building a new administration/greeting are - all while maintaining 80%+ resident capacity throughout construction. The project required weekly trips or multiple trips per week to Zanesville for meetings, subcontractor coordination, and self-performance of drywall and finish-carpentry work.

My employment with TolTest formally ended as a transfer to a position with LakeShore Engineering after it bought TolTest. My last assignment with TolTest was working at Andersen AFB, Guam on fuels (JP-5, JP-8, F76, etc), electrical, and civil work between September of 2007 and May of 2011. The contracts I worked on in Guam included: Taking over and assisting in the completion of multiple SABER contracts of various scopes Managing and assisting with the installation of 50+ new well heads of my own design on storm-water injection wells located throughout the base Renovation and restoration work on 2 bulk fuels jobs - Clean, Inspect, & Repair per API 653 & UFC Starting a project for the replacement/upgrade of all panel boards and power feeders as well as HVAC system modifications in the Aircraft Control Tower. I previously held two other positions within TolTest: - Assistant Quality Control Manager on a new Type III fuel hydrant system in Lajes Air Base, Tierceta Island, Portugal. - 4 months - Design Engineer at TolTest's corporate headquarters. - 1 year, 8 months

Repair Main Dewatering Pumps & Motors, Pumpwell 2, Puget Sound Naval Station, Bremerton, Washington. This $13M+ project primarily consists of replacement of four water cooled 600 HP 12 kV motors, replacement of two 80,000 GPM pumps, new drawout assemblies for two additional 80,000 GPM pumps, replacement of various valves and valve operators. I began attending NSCC as a junior in high school through a post-secondary education program. I took courses in electronics, electrical engineering, physics, hydraulics & pneumatics, as well as general education courses.

Grades 9-12...all of the usual things plus: - 3 years of German - 1 year of Machine Shop - 2 years of football - 1 year of track - Post-secondary Education during my Junior & Senior years taking Electrical & Mechanical Engineering courses at Northwest State Community College - after my day was done at high school. - Worked 20-45 hours a week in retail positions my Junior & Senior years

I attended the School of Architecture until I was into my junior year and enjoyed the challenges of correctly and artfully articulating the design of a structure, but, through internships with construction firms, I realized I enjoyed the process of construction of those designs a lot more. At that point, I transferred into and soon graduated from the Construction Management program. I would highly recommend this program to anyone interested in a career that involves commercial, industrial, or military construction project management.
