* Marine Superintendent * Management of the decontamination and demobilization of assigned vessels engaged in the Deepwater Horizon response. * Dry docking for vessel assessment and preparation of the decontamination work scope in co-ordination with USCG inspection. * Oversight of the decontamination process including acceptance testing. * Co-ordination of commercial repairs within the decontamination work scope.

Managing shipyard projects for T-AGOS class research vessels including generation of specifications and attending the project in shipyard as project manager. These vessels were OSV’s operated by the US Navy and the EPA, converted for scientific research. Managing major projects that included vessel repowering, habitability modifications, and major systems upgrade.

* Managing all repairs, maintenance, and inspections for assigned vessels including routine / emergency repairs and system modifications. These vessels included ATB’s and tankers. * Managing shipyard projects including developing the shipyard specifications and attending the vessel in shipyard as prfoject Manager. * Overseeing repair of the hull structure, mechanical / electrical systems and machinery. * Ensuring compliance with applicable ABS / USCG regulations. Scheduling and participating in regulatory surveys and inspections. * Preparing, monitoring, and managing the routine and major maintenance budgets. * Monitoring vessel records, equipment and hull condition, and the status of repairs through scheduled vessel inspections.
