* Managed 40 authors/illustrators supporting several General Motors groups including GM Powertrain and GM-Service Technology Group. Successfully transitioned the service information authoring team from the pilot development stage into the production environment. Responsible for the development of 1996 and 1997 GM vehicle service information into the ESI System. Results Include: * Participated in the development of the GM ESI authoring system. * Coordinated development of information standards with several GM groups including GM Service Readiness and Information, GM Product Engineering, GM Powertrain, and EDS. * Created specifications for the ESI authoring computer system and business processes for the authoring of GM service information

* Responsibilities included: Management of the operations support team, and the technical development activities for the SI 2000 authoring/data management and electronic delivery systems. Determine, design, construct, and implement system enhancements for the SI 2000 suite of information management and electronic delivery applications in support of GM North America and select international markets (12,000 GM dealers). Direct GM international organizations in order to deliver global, common service information systems. Results Include: * Delivery of the first GM electronic Web delivery application for service information. * Implementation of IT solutions enabling the reduction of Service Bulletin & Campaign delivery process from 60 days to 1 day. * Implementation of IT solutions enabling the reduction of language translation costs by 70 percent. * Achievement of system cost reductions of $ 2M annually. * Invented XML external cross reference hyperlink to a node within a Relational Database enabling cost savings in the tens of millions annually.

Chief Operator and Technical Advisor for the collection and dissemination of intelligence on the East/West German border. Managed 30 operators/analysts during intelligence collection missions supporting an Armored Cavalry Regiment and Army corps. Responsible for mission planning, site selection, and the technical validity of combat warfare intelligence. Awarded U.S. Top Secret Clearance with a special background investigation. Honorably discharged.
