Project Information Manager on Crossrail

I had an exciting and challenging project based role on Europe's largest infrastructure project. My role combined a BIM Project Information Manager with an Innovation lead. My achievements included: • Designed and implemented BIM standards, procedures and processes that were used by thousands of contractors. Managed a client team that reviewed and accepted BIM submission by contractors across the whole project • Created the ‘BIM in Delivery Working Group’ that advanced BIM innovation implementation on project. This successful initiative delivered over 30 BIM innovation improvements to the project • Founding team member of the Crossrail ‘Innovat18’ programme. Personally led deployment of a number of successful innovations including use of BIM models on site, deployment of iPads and apps, use of Augmented Reality and IoT In my part-time I demonstrated my commitment to advancing innovation in construction by serving as ICE Digital Panel member, Construction Chairman for Construction Opportunities for Mobile IT (COMIT), and i3P innovation leadership group

Geographic Information Systems Manager
I was responsible for setting up the GIS (Geographical Information Systems) department for our client; Abu Dhabi Ports Company (ADPC). I selected and implemented an ESRI ArcGIS 9.2 system, including web interface, then hired and ran a 6 person GIS team. The software, processes and procedures I implemented were recognised with an "Excellence in Implementation Award" at at large regional GIS conference (GISWORXS 2008).

I worked as an Information Technology Analyst working on the 3G telecoms roll-out project for Cingular Wireless. I travelled extensively and worked out of a number of cities in the US. I was responsible for developing a number of bespoke IT solutions and conducting data analysis to assist the projects network planning team.
