Product Quality Manager with leadership responsibility for the quality and customer experience for all of Apple's Desktop products globally. The portfolio included iMac, Macmini, MacPro, xServe, AppleTV, Airport Extreme/Express, Time Capsule, displays, keyboards, mice and other peripherals. These products generated ~$8B in revenue in Apple's FY10.

Managed a group of IT professionals (Agilent and non-Agilent) working on package selection/integration and software custom development projects for Sales, Marketing and Customer Support. Worked on many IT projects for local, regional and global organizations and traveled extensively across Europe providing consulting, implementation and training services for internal HP application systems.

Provide leadership to a team of experts in RoHS compliance, product regulation & safety, environmental test, calibration certification, supply chain metrics, product lifecycle, Six Sigma and LEAN manufacturing for Agilent’s largest business group. Personally develop and lead the RoHS Compliance Program driving Agilent to meet critical regulatory requirements. Structured the program, determined the scope and approach, built a team of experts and collaborated with functions across Agilent to ensure clear goals and execution plans. Drove down warranty, scrap and rework costs to industry best-in-class levels meeting the financial savings target two years early.

Recruited to identify, sponsor and drive expense reductions and operational improvements within Agilent’s largest business group. Filling a unique role within Agilent, I worked with the business group staff to gain sponsorship for multi-million dollar improvements across the organization. With a diverse portfolio of responsibilities I worked simultaneously on many fronts such as development and roll-out of Agilent’s expense policy, representing the business group on the Agilent Risk Council, engaging a third-party review of our supply chain logistics capabilities and driving indirect materials spending down to historic lows. I implemented new PMO structures and program rigor within the business group and in addition trained to Black Belt level on Six Sigma with Motorola University.

Managed teams of project managers, application architects, designers and developers on Sales & Marketing and ERP applications deployed across Agilent. Built a central IT Project Management team focused on ERP Application Delivery, Sarbanes-Oxley, Disaster Recovery Planning and Oracle Access and Security. Drove the outsourcing of all ERP Oracle application support through RFP, contract and service level negotiation and deployment of the outsourced model. Member of Agilent’s AIM Class of 2004 (recognized as an industry-leading program for a small number of high-potential leaders) and was active in the development and roll-out of Management By Objectives (MBO) by developing and presenting two MBO workshops to all Agilent managers worldwide. Was recruited into a unique role to identify and deliver projects to ensure our sales, finance, e-business and other functions within Agilent would be able to co-exist with Agilent’s new enterprise Oracle ERP application. Utilized over 300 team members and delivered more than 30 projects in only 9 months, coming in on time and under budget.
