After completing a manufacturing apprenticeship specialising in electrical engineering I started my career at Pilkingtons NSG as a production operator. I then progressed into team leader and supervisory roles, responsible for teams of up to 30, before becoming the Process Manager for the Cold End are of the float production line. In this role I am responsible for all aspects of the cutting and loading process with particular focus on health and safety, process improvements, production planning, quality and training and development.
